What does a wedding planner actually do?
A LOT more than you think
I am a chef, event expert & founder of The French Magnolia brand. I design, plan and execute weddings and life events with meticulous style and originality. With 25 years experience in both the culinary arts & design world, I am always drawing inspiration from the life and love stories of my clients.
I approach every project as a blank slate – developing original ideas, colors, textures and finishes reflective of the bride and groom.
Great style & attention to detail keeps you working, but maintaing a cool head, being resourceful and embracing a sense of humor keeps you successful.
I am also a wife and was once a bride. My biggest mistkae was NOT hiring a wedding planner myself. Even when you are super organized and have great taste, a wedding can (and will) get the best of you!
